This project went far beyond cosmetic upgrades—it involved a comprehensive overhaul of the building's core systems and infrastructure. Sarvin’s team undertook major structural enhancements, including fire-rated upgrades, modern sprinkler systems, and the installation of new elevators, all designed to meet the demands of modern code and guest expectations. Inside, every one of the 189 guestrooms and washrooms was fully renovated, along with all corridors, to deliver a consistent and refined guest experience. Public areas, including the lobby, bar, and café, were carefully reconfigured and redesigned to better flow and functionality, while maintaining the building's historic character. What made this renovation particularly complex was the challenge of integrating modern systems into a legacy structure without compromising its original integrity. Sarvin Construction approached the project with a turnkey mindset—coordinating everything from design detailing to mechanical retrofits. They worked closely with architects, engineers, and trades to ensure every element of the build met high standards for durability, efficiency, and aesthetic cohesion.
